OLDER CHILD ADOPTION

Family on the Mend, LLC understands the difficulty in older children obtaining permanency. We consult with the families to help you understand the rewards of adopting older children. By adopting older children, you will be there for a whole different set of first experiences: The first time they call you "mom" and/or "dad", the first time they say, “I love you”, and the first time they tell you their most trusted feelings or thoughts. Older children will come with their own stories to share with you, and your family can be filled with many rewards.

You will be able to witness the progression from the initial visits with the youth until the day they know in their heart that they belong to you.
